Kamrun Nahar

Shamim Azad– a name that evokes independence, joy, and an ever-glowing fountain of positivity. When someone blooms in their own light, they earn respect not by demand, but through the grace of their life’s work, and she has earned it, beautifully.
There are rare individuals who choose their own path and walk it with conviction. No boundary can confine them; no pressure can bend them; no discouragement can dim their spirit; no structure can limit their creative force. They are remembered not merely for what they did, but for how they lived with courage, passion, and authenticity. I admire such souls deeply.
Shamim Azad is one of those luminous minds. Listening to her, watching her interviews, reading her life stories and reflections — each time I am left in awe, often with goosebumps. In her, I see the living proof that a woman can stand with dignity without arrogance, can bring joy without effort, and can enlighten others simply by being herself.
She deserves a standing ovation for her wisdom, for her expansive vision,
for her lived experience, and for the way her eyes see the world through multiple lenses of empathy, art, and insight.
Though I have not yet had the privilege of meeting her in person, I truly believe that moment is waiting in the pages of time, and when it arrives, it will write a story worth remembering.
