Tick tock! Tick tock! STOP!
You nerve grinding incessant clock
Your restless hands, they cannot pause
Around and around, like a Ferris wheel
A dizzying feeling for all to deal
Immortal and not a speck of grey
Always happy and so gay
Remaining the same since the day you were born
Mocking and sneering on an elevated throne
At all living things that the earth has birthed
They perish and die, and you do not flinch
Your arrogance is miffing me
Not even suffering and death will halt your hands
Drown you, break you into smithereens
Still, your stubborn hand do not stop
The dusk and dawn come and go
And still, you live forevermore
Oh! You insufferable fossiled clock
I envy you more each and every day
With my greys and arthritic limbs
I stumble to my waiting grave
