My Dad
My English Rose
Today I know we should be sad
But when I think back far in time
The wonderful memories we have
That fills our days where you still shine
Forever sitting in our hearts
The place where true love grows
A little song played on my harp
My Dad, My English Rose
We see you in the mountains high
And in each stream that flows
We see you where the clouds float by
My Dad, My English Rose
I feel you in the air I breathe
You everywhere I go
My happy dreams that shalt not leave
My Dad, My English Rose
I pick a star out every night
The brightest one that glows
For your the one that gives me light
My Dad, My English Rose
Today I know we should be sad
Where tears like fountains flow
The best father a son could have
