Something I Look At-303 by Smruti Ranjan Mohanty

Something I Look At – 303

My love!
against me,
you may have a thousand complaints.
You may be finding it difficult to accept me the way I have been
You may not accept me,
but accept my wishes
they don’t have an ounce of
hypocrisy in them.
They carry my love and concern,
feelings and emotions.
Never doubt
these are straight from the heart, my breath and pulse in fact
If undelivered, they will
not come back to me
They will loiter here and there
with tears in their eyes
I may not be the man of your choice
But I will always be with you in your moments of distress
You may not share your smile with me
But allow me to swallow your tears as mine, exclusively mine
You may be the queen of million hearts
Forget not
someone is silently looking at
you from a distance
whose only dream is to see you smiling and moving ahead on life’s lonely path
No more tears
The quota of sorrow is over
Smile a bit! believe me,
it will be cheers and cheers all the way
Life is a feast
The time has come to celebrate it
Add life to life,
you will realise how beautiful life is
