10th May 2021
Far away from the urban flow
Far away from the diseased row
Amidst those verdant meadows
Besides the clear stream
I’ll rest my solitary soul
And listen to that mellifluous song
Of some unknown bird.
Certain dreams I’ll sketch
On the clear sky
And then you come, O’love!
To pour myriad colours in them.
You might weave some novel dreams too
I’ll be by your side
To applaud them with my verse.
With that bubbling stream
We’ll let go our broken dreams,
When the sky will soak us
With soft gentle rain
Entwined in each others’ arms
We’ll sing melodious refrain.
