Hey Dear Bards!!
On behalf of GPP, I express immense gratitude to all poets for showering your beautiful verses in our very own poetic garden, “Global Poet and Poetry.”

The deadline is 14th August at 4 p.m. Indian time. Plagiarism is a strict “No”. The best poetries will find a place on our International website, and e-certificates will be given to the poets.

Freedom

Sai Prakash

Keep the flag flying high, in its shade we dwell in peace and pride
Salute the heroes fallen on trail
Those soldiers guarding our borders, in their glory we sing and dance
Freedom to think, freedom to live, freedom to dream and realize.

Theme: #Freedom
Victorious in our hearts
Serenity is our emotion
Brothers and Sisters perished in a severe riot,
Yet, we are freedom combatants
O!, the stability we quarrel for,
The freedom we dance in forevermore.

.

It’s so tough for all of us to fly with wings of birds
If there are not the soldiers to fight for conquering freedom crown of heart
By wearing that now, all can sing and dance
Let’s show our heartfelt thanks to all of them
Without your lion’s roar, we can’t say a word on earth
You’re the real hero to bestow the utmost care
