I learn to love you, O death!
Once upon a time,
I hated you
Your black rocking body was a blur,
And dreadful lips threatened me
When kissing people on their cool bed.
Now, a setting sun I ‘m!
Perhaps so, I learn to love you
And understand you.
Now I see,
What a precious is your value!
Through my long silent journey
I gather experience about you.
You’re
The gateway to that fresh life.
To that new world, you will take me.
So, I learn to love you
Like the sacrificial fire on my wedding day.
Like those burning flames
Will embrace me, kiss me deliciously.
I want to get your lyrical warm.
You, the gateway to God
Where my thirsty soul be got lost in.
