Empty promises
Never ever promise
What you cannot fulfill
Because it´s my curse
To remember everything
All your pretty words
Lightly pronounced
And so quickly forgotten
All those great places
Which we won´t see together
Those some nice memories
Which we´ll never revive
Something only ours
Because we don´t really exist
Pain
Every pain has its period of time
It seems like catharsis
On the way to spiritual purification
When man becomes stronger and wiser
Finally only a scar remains
And a bitter taste in the mouth
As a full stop at the end of the story
About the wrong people
And wrong decisions
That faithful meeting place
Where the two souls touched
That night when the heart said
Goodbye to the mind
And there was no dilemma or remorse
Questions or answers
Fear or shame
Nothing mattered
Except that moment
Sealed with kisses
Without end and beginning
As if it didn´t exist
Yesterday or tomorrow
Only now and here
In semi-darkness and embrace
As if it was the last one
At that crossroads of life
I ain´t hurt by people
Malicious and jealousy
It´s easy to stay away
Those without courtesy
I care about nice people
Just a few of them reach me
If they turn out to be fake
Something they´ll teach me
I´ll remember betrayal
And I will never forget
If my pain is a lesson
There will be no regret
My heart is a phoenix
And my pen is a sword
The mightiest weapon
It´s always the word
A frivolous wanderer
Easy come easy go
He was always somewhere
But in fact never anywhere
He didn’t understand the message
Whoever wants will find a way
If the will is strong enough
The void was too deep
To be fulfilled with crumbs
From an empty table
The cry was inaudible
The rose was too hurt
She won’t forgive herself
She wasn´t asking for too much
Only one tiny light
To flicker in the pitch-dark
Just one hand and one hug
That she can live in conviction
There is someone after all
Who really cares about
But he called too late
That hungry African child
He couldn’t save anymore
My pain
Deep blue
Like the ocean
It comes to the surface
Every time you invoke
Your memories
Of which I am not a single part
Because they evoke
My memories
In which there is too much of you
And I wonder who is to blame
You who were leaving
Or me who was waiting
Now that it’s all over
And there is no going back
I don’t care anymore
Where you are or how you are
Are you alone or kissing someone
While you act and tell fairy tales
Full of false promises
In a sea of empty words
Are you doing well
As you imagined
Or are you actually unhappy
In that imaginary happiness of yours
Are you real at all
Or just a figment of my imagination
You know my imagination is immense
It can do anything I want
Raise you to heaven
Make you the center of the universe
Like a deity
Or it can delete you
Move you to the virtual world
Replace with someone else
With the hero of a more beautiful story
Suppress you from consciousness
Like you never existed
As if you had died a long time ago
Just like that love died
So suddenly and without announcement
And left one of us
In deep mourning and despair
