The Hidden Sun by Fibby Bob Kinney

The Hidden Sun

Beneath the clouds on the run,
Is the hidden morning Sun.
It raises up its sleepy head,
From the cloudy presence which was its bed.
Ready to shine its bright rays.
To welcome the presence of the days.
The greeting to the morning dew;
The birth of this day brand new.
The peeking distant massive Sun.
Here all day till the day is done.
Then into the darkness it glides away.
All night in the shadows it will stay.
The Earth revolves on its never ending trip,
A race in circles for it to grip.
A planet chasing its tail like a giant squirrel.
Constantly turning in a ballerina’s twirl.
The Sun watches this dance with a curious smile,
Keeping track of it mile after mile..
Then, the Moon takes its place,
To watch our planet continue its race.
Who else but the poet can capture these thoughts.
The Sun and Moon with the Earth’s dancing has brought.
A vision captured through digital ink.
Taking reality to its pondering brink.
Such miracles we accept without a glance.
Of our planet’s never ending twirling romance.
With the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars above.
Sharing together this cosmic love…fBk
