Beautiful poet of distance seas,
Green and red being sown into every seed,
Of her fibre, creativity in every bone,
Helping others, their craft to hone,
For many decades Red, white and blue now her home,
Integrating and blending in, but green and red seeds still being sown,
Love for Bangladesh, one foot on each shore,
The words and performances, Us wanting an encore,
Warm friend smile and a friendly face,
Even after time apart, a welcoming embrace,
A beautiful soul that shines like the sun,
Spreading joy through her words to everyone,
Age not a barrier to her youthful glow,
Colours, movement and words just flow ,
An inspiration to those in the know,
Here’s to the next chapter.. Let’s go!
