Pain And Passion
It’s the feeling as if you’ve known each other Forever,
Maybe this life, the last, or the next know we’ll never.
What a bond to break, bare, then sever,
Like blindfolded, then pick one out of a million levers.
Your stomach drops so hard, it breaks your heart,
In an instant, all rainbows fell apart,
The color in art ran away with the daylight.
Re-painting this world in grey, and dark white.
I become the name that my soul bares,
Tragedy, misery, and agony compare.
As a middle, first and, last of my name, it had to be.
After you confessed nothing but lies to me
Everything inside, it tares to the outside of me,
Forward and backward, at the same time were running,
The good beneath our feet starts crumbling.
The bridge ahead the fires rumbling,
From the breath we breathe, eternal flames are pouring,
We suture up our wounds, uncleaned and poorly.
Each other’s hearts, we’ve now beaten too sorely,
Always just right here pity party with the poor me,
Leading right back, can you, will you, just hold me.
We sware all the way away, each other’s old me,
In our despair, rewrite our whole history.
Smiling words, that didn’t even happen,
Smirks that we turned, into laughin.
Poison, feeding off poison, turns into a toxin,
We’ve used so much, there no cure to put the stocks in.
The emotion bank is past the limit on withdrawals,
We don’t answer the phone when collections call.
Denial’s broken-hearted smile is back again,
Begging please, will you let me in my friend.
Drunk and bitter, on the broken that was bumbling,
There is no novocaine left for the numbing.
This time around we start out stumbling,
You think this time we’d be, a little more humbling.
But, love is the best of its cunning,
Salty, and sweet, bitter it taste so stunning.
A painful delight of “pain in passion” and fight,
A war that’s always blazin, upon a marvellous sight.
